The extensive nature of the landscape of Lütetsburg is perfect for cycling trips. The surroundings can be explored on a total of 3500 kilometers of well-maintained cycle paths. Its infrastructure offers many opportunities to linger and there are countless different routes to take. You decide whether you prefer an action-packed route over stick and stone or a relaxed ride along the dikes. In addition to providing extensive road maps, we will be happy to help you choose the right route. The ADFC also offers a wonderful route for the Lütetsburg region.
Obviously, you can come with your own bicycle if you want to. But there is also the possibility to rent a suitable bike for your holiday at the local bike rental. You are welcome to indicate this directly when booking your stay with us or contact us spontaneously in the secretary's office. We will be happy to book the bicycle for you.
Conveniently, the Norddeich harbour jetty is situated a 10 minute drive away from our holiday homes. From there, you can reach the popular islands of Norderney and Juist by ferry. Though Norddeich is also worth the trip out for the day, as the state recognised North sea Spa also has a lot to offer.
Experience beautiful walks in the East Frisian landscape. The relaxing North Sea climate and the scent of the sea are ideal for long walks in the countryside. You can explore the surrounding countryside on one of the many hiking trails or stroll through the picturesque Schlosspark. The English landscaped garden offers many hidden historical treasures as well as a wonderful gem of relaxation, tranquility and distance from the hectic pace of everyday life. The Wadden Sea World Heritage Site, which has been designated by UNESCO, is only a few kilometers away. Look forward to an unforgettable walk along the seashore or jog along the dike. The wonderful nature is waiting for you!
You want to play some football while you’re here? No problem! You can rent a football for a small fee. We also have various frisbees, badminton rackets and much more to borrow. Please feel free to simply ask for them in the clubhouse.
If you want to work on your backhand while on holiday, you are very welcome to our nearby tennis courts of the Lütetsburg Tennis Club.
