The cozy "Old Gatekeeper's Apartment", which is approximately 110m² big, is located in the outer bailey of Schloss Lütetsburg. The outer castle is the oldest part of the moated castle and dates back to about 1500. Here, in the western part of the castle, was once the entrance to the site and thus also the home of the gatekeeper. This is how this domicile, which has since been converted into a holiday apartment, got its name.
The apartment has two bedrooms, a large living room with fireplace, a kitchen with dining table and two bathrooms. Each of the rooms is furnished with antique furniture and great attention to detail.
The larger bedroom is equipped with a double bed (180x200cm) and the smaller one with two single beds (90×200 cm). The two bathrooms each have a shower, toilet and sink. In the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, freshly caught North Sea fish can be prepared just as well as game meat from the count's own hunting grounds.
After long walks in the Schlosspark or a round of golf, you can relax in the large living room.
